Glamorous care worker stole nearly £10,000 for spending spree

A glamorous care worker stole nearly £10,000 to go on a spending spree - and police found clothes, shoes and handbags in her home.
Laura Nichols, 26, took the money from the bank account of a vulnerable man she was looking after.
Blonde Nichols was team leader for a care company when she stole £9,831.99 over a year from the 41-year-old man.
Magistrates heard Nichols spent the lot on her love of fashionable clothes and accessories.
Prosecutor Ellie Morgan said: "Police found clothes, shoes and handbags at her parents' house.
"Nichols said she had bought them herself - but admitted supplementing her account with the stolen money.
