Lacina Traore set for West Ham medical & work permit hearing

The Ivorian striker completed his move to Ligue 1 side Monaco from Anzhi Makhachkala on Saturday but is set to be immediately loaned out to England
Lacina Traore is on the brink of a loan move to West Ham until the end of the season.
The 6ft 8in striker is heading to London for a medical and a work permit hearing.
Hammers officials are confident that the Cote d'Ivoire international will be granted a permit at the hearing, which is expected to take place at the start of next week.
Monaco announced earlier on Saturday that they had signed Traore from Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala for a fee that is believed to be €10 million. The giant forward has penned a four-and-a-half-year contract with the big-spending French club.
However, Monaco have agreed a deal with West Ham that will see Traore instantly loaned to the east Londoners for the second half of the season.
Hammers boss Sam Allardyce has made no secret of his relegation-threatened side's need for reinforcements, particularly in attack.
Andy Carroll has returned to training as he closes in on his long-awaited comeback but the manager admits that he needs proven back-up to the injury-prone former Liverpool and Newcastle man.
West Ham's resources have been so stretched in the first half of the season that they have gone into many matches without a recognised centre forward.
Traore has followed in the footsteps of Chelsea duo Samuel Eto'o and Willian by swapping Anzhi for the English capital in the wake of billionaire owner Suleyman Kerimov drastically trimming costs at the Russian club.
The 23-year-old Ivorian scored 15 goals in 39 matches during his 18-month spell at Anzhi.
