Awards that was broadcast live from Walter Sisulu Square in Kliptown.
The who’s who of African entertainment and enough red carpet glamour were present at the prestigious awards.Nigerian singer Wizkid triumphed on the night with his song ‘Azonto’ taking home 'Most Gifted Video of the Year'.
Nigerian R&B duo P Square and rapper Khuli Chana brought their ‘A’ game to the ceremony with an outstanding performance that had the crowd on their feet and singing along
.
P Square was honored with one of the classic awards of the evening as they took the title of Special Recognition Award which recognizes their contribution to African music. The music pair also scooped the Most Gifted African West Video award.
Again Kalawa Jazzmee Record comes on top for producing on the best in Music.
Kwaito Star Proffessor walked away with Most Gifted Kwaito Video for his hit song ‘Finger Prints’.
Multiple award and hit making duo Mafikizolo were privileged with Most Gifted Dance Video for their hot single ‘Khona.
Last year’s Special Recognition winner, Oscar “Oskido” Mdlongwa once again showed an incredible gift for keeping his career fresh and hot when “Tsa Mandebele” was named winner of the Most Gifted African South Video.
