Chelsea 6-0 Arsenal: Mourinho’s rampant Blues annihilate Gunners in Wenger’s 1000th game

The Frenchman's landmark event quickly turned into a nightmare as the hosts ran riot, with Kieran Gibbs sent off instead of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in a case of mistaken identity.
Chelsea thumped Arsenal 6-0 in a remarkable game at Stamford Bridge as Arsene Wenger celebrated his 1000th game in charge of the Gunners.
Samuel Eto'o and Andre Schurrle put the hosts two goals up inside seven minutes before Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain handled inside the penalty area.
Eden Hazard converted from the spot but referee Andre Marriner wrongly sent off Kieran Gibbs in a case of mistaken identity. Oscar added a fourth just before half-time compound Wenger's misery on his landmark day.
The Brazilian was on hand midway through the second half before Mohamed Salah added a sixth with 20 minutes to play to give Jose Mourinho his biggest home win as Chelsea manager.
