Greek league: Olympiakos seal Greek Super League title

A 2-0 win over Panthrakikos was enough for Michel's side to seal their 16th domestic crown in 18 seasons with five rounds of fixtures still to play
Olympiakos secured the Greek Super League title on Saturday with a 2-0 victory over Panthrakikos at Karaiskakis Stadium.
A strike from Nelson Valdez and a penalty from David Fuster was enough to seal a comfortable result for Michel's men against the 10-man visitors, giving them an unassailable 18-point lead over Atromitos with five rounds to play.
The initial title celebrations took place in front of an empty stadium, with Olympiakos forced to play behind closed doors as a result of recent supporter violence during an encounter with rivals Panathinaikos.
The triumph - Olympiakos' fourth in a row, and their 16th in 18 seasons - was secured despite Michel resting a handful of his biggest names in preparation for the Champions League last-16 second leg against Manchester United on Wednesday.
Τhrylos will take a 2-0 lead to Old Trafford as they bid to reach the quarter-finals for the first time since the 1998-99 season.
