Nigeria 2015: Kwara State Will Soon Be Ours - Jonathan

President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday revealed that he isn't that much worried about the recent defection of its members and he is certain that his party (PDP) will win back those lost places.
President Jonathan took some time out to talk about the situation in Kwara state, where the PDP has lost major support as governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed; his predecessor and serving senator, Bukola Saraki; all the council chairmen in Kwara, and majority of state and federal lawmakers in Kwara defected to APC.
He was speaking to some PDP stake holders from the Kwara state came to the Presidential villa to pay him a visit.
He said: “In 2015, we will know who owns Kwara and if God gives us the opportunity, which I believe, probably we will even test our strength before 2015,” “All stolen mandates will return to PDP and those who think that they can run away with our mandates, they should have a rethink.

“We must take over the state structures of the party, the governor and the state assembly; we must take all because it is easy to reach the grassroots through the states than the centre.”

President Jonathan assured the members that PDP will recover from APC's shock and will continue to be the rulling party in the state.

He also told some state member of the National Assembly that refused to defect that they won't regret their decision but they will celebrate it.

Jonathan finished off by stelling the delegates: So, definitely, we are taking Kwara.
